The time I had carpet installed they were reasonable and professional. I will be returning to new location for stairs soon.
The staff at this location is top-notch.... from the Leslie in the showroom suggesting different options.... to Kevin who came to my home to measure.....to Jose and crew who installed the flooring. Leslie paid attention to my needs and made suggestions on types of flooring to install. Kevin came up with creative ideas to stretch my budget and still achieve my goals. And Jose and crew worked tirelessly to install the flooring a full day ahead of schedule to avoid rain.
Carpet Depot installed the carpeting in our home when my wife & I moved here in September 2011. Because we had such a fantastic experience with them, we decided to go back to them.After pricing Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring at a couple other retailers, including the big-box DIY stores, we stopped back by Carpet Depot to speak with Kevin (the owner) and his staff. As before, they were knowledgeable and professional in every way. After taking a few weeks to decide regarding the type of LVP (more for my wife than me), we made our decision and set up a time for Kevin to come by to double check our measurements.The price was extremely good and very competitive. As with most things in today’s retail market, it took a few weeks for the materials to come in: we put LVP on the downstairs floor and a high-grade commercial carpet on the stairs. During the whole “waiting” period, either Kevin or his staff called us to keep us informed where everything was or wasn’t.When everything came in, we were told it could take up to two days. We had to have an area of tongue-and-groove ¾ inch oak removed and the old carpeting in the fireplace room and the stairs removed as well, so we figured this was reasonable. When the installation crew arrived, they informed us it would all be done in one day!The installation guys were phenomenal. Face it, it doesn’t matter how nice the flooring is unless it is installed properly. The crew was polite, and they worked extremely hard. I used to manage job sites and these guys were great! This was perhaps the number one of the reason why we returned to Carpet Depot—the professionalism and service of Kevin’s installation crews.We are beyond satisfied with our new floors! They finished quickly, they were extremely concerned with our satisfaction, and they were professional. The market right now is very tight cost-wise. You always get what you pay for and there is little ability for a quality install and product at a very low price. This is just where we are in our economy today.What makes the difference is the customer service and the people doing the service. The biggest difference in today’s economy is the service. Carpet Depot delivers on this. And I have longer than ten years’ experience to prove it!
We have used carpet depot twice. We Re-carpeted our home and then put new carpet in a rental home also. We always shop around for price but the price here has always been good. Leslie has helped us out both times previously and now we are working with her again for kitchen / dining room flooring. She has always been very easy to work with and very helpful 😀
My husband and I are very happy with our flooring and carpet. Pricing was very good too! Check them out if you are wanting new floors. Tico and his crew were fast and they did a great job. I am very satisfied with the final outcome.
I would highly recommend Carpet Depot Douglasville. I shopped around and received 4 quotes from other installers, Carpet Depot Douglasville beat their prices by $1,000 and their installation time was only 6 days, versus the 3-4 weeks for the other installers. 3 guys came to remove and install the carpet, then a few hours later 3 more guys came to help them finish. They covered my new hardwood floors and didn’t scuff or scratch them at all while passing through. I love my new carpet and I will tell everyone about Carpet Depot Douglasville. Ask for Kevin, very nice and professional.
Customer service here was excellent! Kevin was very well informed about all of the different types of flooring. At one point, I read previous reviews and almost did not proceed with this company. I was nervous but I decided to speak with the owner about my concerns and he was very open to talk about anything. He reassured me that I was in good hands and ultimately made me feel comfortable enough to continue. Ultimately, I am 100% satisfied with the service they've provided. The two installers were able to fit me into a last minute appointment and got everything done in one day. They confirmed if everything was to my liking many of times. Overall, they did an excellent job and I would absolutely have this company install my future flooring.
